On behalf of SEDS I am offering a training weekend in the Lakes - 19/21 May.
Training on brilliant areas - Eggerslack, Skelghyll Woods and Graythwaite.
This weekend is open to anyone who feels young and aspiring (over 18s unless accompanied by an "adult") and seeks to work on their technique.
Anyone interested should contact me by the end of the weekend to discuss.

I think the bank holiday is the following weekend isn't it??
All right, you scrawny beanpoles: becoming a cop is not something that happens overnight. It takes one solid weekend of training to get that badge.

In England the bank holiday weekend is 28 - 30th May. On my calendar it says for the UK, but maybe its different where Graeme is!

It is the JK M10A, I'm guilty of freeloading on my sons ability as a proud father! , could have included Northern, Yorkshire and British also.
For me, I have aspirations of outliving those chumps who beat me today and will come in to my own in the later age categories!!

Thought it looked familiar it sat on our shelf for a couple of years- one of the nicest trophies we have had. British M12 is pretty good too. If you get hold of British M14 relays that's a bit special.(Well it is when you get the valuation)
Make the most of your pride cos although you keep it they get a bit reticent to be seen with the trophies as they get older.

Yes , holidays do depend on where you live in Britain . In Edinburgh our Victoria weekend holiday is May 23&24. May 2nd and 30th are ordinary working days (and therefore inappropriate days to hold British Championships ...).
But, if you do happen to have a day off on May 30th, there are plenty of great things to do in central/southern Scotland on your way home from the Scottish relays , the entries for which close tomorrow .

Your picture showing a trophy is that the JK M10A trophy. If so when did you have it?
Ahh I remember having that one in 1995! A year to remember...
