that IS out of order and instead of posting anonymously if you have something worthwhile saying you should let us all know who you are. just out of interest, who are you referring to?

'guest', why do you say that?
All right, you scrawny beanpoles: becoming a cop is not something that happens overnight. It takes one solid weekend of training to get that badge.

What the hell would you know Klebe?
Prehaps you would like to tell us which selections you feel were not due to performance, but rather to favourability???
Making bullpoo attributions like that is the easy way to explain non-selection. But it's up to each athlete to make the selectors select them, you have to earn your place. Even if selectors don't like ýou, they cant ignore you if you get top results.
Who is Klebe, anyone?

selections look good, the right people are in there, some are injured, but if they are fit they will be the best for the job. if they aren't then people will get to run instead, you can't do it the other way round.
congrats to all selected, go enjoy.

Yep congratulations to one and all. Just a shame that EYOC clashes with Inter Regionals (I think) and SWJS have just lost 2 of their finest athletes. Can't be helped I guess. Pays to get excuses in nice and early though.

what a twat.
selections are made. some people get upset. dozens of people are killed in violence in Iraq everyday. put it all in perspective and get on with life.
just do better next year and you'll make the team. in the meantime, shut up and train/compete harder/better.

If you miss out on start as second year 18 does that mean you can't go to spring cup. In previous years those that missed out got a chance by going on tour buy this year there is not this opportunity.
Obviously for big jobbies it's up to athlete to do well in FCC etc, particularly where injury and illness has dogged through the season.
If you can't go to Spring Cup with start is it open to all or do you need a Scandie club?

if you want to go to spring cup you just go. its an open event, basically the danish equivalent of the JK. the relay is open aswell. just get a team together, make up a name and go race.
however just don't call your team GO-NADS. Thats been copyrighted.

well someone interested in selection either for him/herself or as a coach/advisor should know at least a little..... Spring Cup is just a punters competition... only difference between it and the JK is that it puts up cash for prizes and attracts a strong elite field.... no restriction on entry
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

You can't do anything about illness or injuries, is better to just recover and get back to fitness, and maybe not be in the squad for a year. World Class Start is name, 3 weeks training, coaching, some money and GB kit. But it doesn't give you the attitude of a champion. That is inside us.

Gross you've been around a long time. When you are 16 and mainly compete in UK. You know the name of a foreign competition and that people go to it nothing else unless you are from an elite backgound
