thanks Ed, that got me to actually seeing button for live commentary (previously has just said "fault"), but unfortunately, pressing button got "page temporarily unavailable" message, so perhaps capacity still not meeting demand
I know that a huge amount of effort went into trying to provide excellent link, and am sure they're devastated that huge number of supporters not been able to join in atmosphere of such a great competition

@ifititches - it's doing the same for me, I guess it's just a permanent no-show now.
iof portal seems to be doing something now. I think it must be on 15 minute updates though.
I guess orienteering isn't renowned as a spectator sport , but those having a go at the technical team are out of order. yes it's disappointing, and I guess they're as disappointed as anyone else. live internet links from nowhere in particular (or even from a decent static link) are still a bit of a lottery though... that's life. if you can do a better job I'm sure you'd be welcome to next time.

And Nick won the B sprint.
The IOF site says (about the feed) "it's out of our control"
Live commentary button now vanished again from WC website. From here, that site seems to be stuck in a nightmarish loop. Did anyone manage to hang on to live results all the way through?
Edit, and agree with Ben, maps have now appeared again (weren't there earlier) and now download at lightning speed!

sorry this is a bit late, but-
gross, you are just wrong. as well as everyone else who says its not good enough. It may reflect badly on the sport (in england), but as has already been said, the only people at fault are the providers of the crap equipment. I would love it if you were the person in charge of this, and the same thing happened.
it is a position NO-ONE wanted to be in, but c'est la vie, jobby happens. it is the first time such tecnology had been tried out in england, no? if it happens again and again at future events, you would be right to complain, but it won't. this is no doubt a one off, and everyone is so annoyed because they had got all excited about the prospect of keeping up with the scandies standards, and not missing much action. if we were used to the provision of live net stuff all the time, i doubt people would have cared as much. then it would have been seen as a one off.
also, so you can slag me off for being defensive, becky is a very clever young lady and is there, has talked to relevant people and knows what is going on. i would say her attitude and opinions are better than yours.

Pictures are better than words because sometimes words are big and hard to understand.
