Really, really enjoyed tonight. Excellent fun - route choices, quick decisions, people running in all directions, tunnels, staircases and hedges...bring on Battersea

I have put up a few pictures from the sprint here. Large version of all (1536x2048 1.2MB) are available, but have not been uploaded yet.
Only have pictures of the blokes, as we got caught up in heavy traffic getting to the event
Really enjoyed running round the uni campus

Really great - I found the course pretty difficult, requiring different tempos as you moved from an easy area around the cathedral to the very tricky labyrinthine bit to the east. Good fun!

My three "little lads" who all ran were full of praise for the planner. Really technical, great challenge to think quickly and navigate accurately at full racing speed. Even the WC people were making errors. Well done to the planner Andy Jones. Seems good omen for Battersea.

We're using a single competitor database for all days of the Surrey 5-O. The DNS people are mainly those who didn't enter for Friday but are running one or more other days.

Duncan Coombs won the FCC men ahead of James Tullie with Mat D third I think
Alison O'Neil won the women's in 33mins(ish), about 30secs ahead of Cerys with Helen Gardner and Lizzie Adams joint third.
oh - and the results are by no means final as not everyone's there.

The current set of results were uploaded between 17:24 and 17:28. The last starts were 17:00ish. I am not yet on those results (not that I am complaining, as I retired!).
edit: Anyone not at today's event may not be aware that the start times for the Surrey Five-O were delayed by 30 minutes due to the relays taking longer than expected.
