Who do you think will feature in the fian?
My guess is, in no particular order
Barrable, Craney, GG, Bogle, Speakey and Baker
with Speakey to take the honours.
Who will be on the podium at the BEOC Sprint Race?

Results are up
Barrable, GG, Oli
Heather, Clare Ward, Jenny
Mens Final: 3.32km
Shortest actual possible route about 4.4km
(Hence why the mins/km are higher than might be expected)

Interesting to see a few on the B final would have made the top ten on the A final. Bet they'll be kicking themselves now!

BOF Rule 6.1.2 The course length shall be given as the length of the straight line from the start via the controls to the finish deviating for, and only for, physically impassable obstructions (high fences, lakes, impassable cliffs etc.), 'out of bounds' areas and marked routes.
Apart from the above technical niggle, great courses & event in general. Well done to the organising team. Just wish I could run a lot faster!! Mindyou, using the correct course length it's still the fastest min/km I've ever run on an orienteering event. Definately "sprint" racing.

Length depended on whether you went through one of the buildings or not. At one stage both doors across a corridor had been opened!! Equally in the heats for some runners one of the gates had been closed and locked so delaid some runners by a few seconds!
