probably been read by a few of you already but check this out.
with all he discussion about BOF structure etc.. and how we should improve participation/make the sport more exciting, looks like the french are doing some things right - you only have to look at how strong they are in the (mens) elite.
would we have the participation levels to do a similar club league competition like the french do? don't see why not. and our country is smaller...
any thoughts?

Haven't read the article but does this refer to the championnat des clubs de france. I actually won the b course at this for my french club a few years ago (allowing them to go up the league). I'd say the standard is a bit lower than other competitions - a bit like the compasssport cup perhaps (but with a big final that everyone can run in)
