I wondered if anybody could explain to me how events are classed nowadays.
I've been away from orienteering for a few years now and I'm hearing murmurs of district events, c1's, c2's and a whole host of other things. Back in the good ol day you just had colour coded, championship and national events. So can somebody explain what they've done. Then again I may just being stupid and things haven't changed.

c1=jk, british champs
c2=national events, as ever were,
c3=regional events = badge events
c4=district events = colour codeds
c5=local events=local events/national local events/the local SCENE
someone else can explain the reasoning.....

American football is going great at the moment but the college season will be finishing in 4 weeks and I graduate soon so i'll have to move up to the senior league which is a big step. I was originally only leaving orienteering for a year cause I over did it, now it's been 3 or so years and I think its a good time to come back. It's a shame to leave football but the demands on your body are so great, often I can't walk or do anything the next morning.
