Classic problem of the nearly quick typist trying to post a note whilst speaking on the phone at the same time.
My froms always come out as forms. Bit of a problem as spell check dosn't pick up?
More serious matters, I had no problem with JK online entry.

JK Entries
I have experienced the same problems as several of the other replies. Each time I use the entry system I always have the same problem. I enter all the courses for the family etc then when I press the submit button the course suffixes disappear and I have to re-enter the information as it says the form is incomplete. Quite often it may be more than one field which needs re typing.
The dbase from BOF seems to be rarely updated as I informed them of an SI# change 12 months ago yet the system continues to pull in the old one.
All in all, infinately better than postal system.

it's so annoying when websites do this sort of annoying thing. but it's not just BOF, interestingly i was just trying to book some flights for the BEOC Sprint/Middle weekend. -the first problem was choosing where to fly to since there is no information but my entries secretary tells me heathrow is best bet for "sandhurst". Anyway ba.com also need to get it's act together. so if anyone from ba.com is reading this, sort it out, i noticed it said something about Javascript which i've heard is not simple but I'd expect more from you, to be frank.

I must admit, when I last acted as JK entries secretary, the 40% or so who entered online were a lot easier to deal with than all the 'interesting' paper entries.

the concorde chase is on star posts, and the BKO website says
'Part of the competition area will be used for the British Elite Middle Distance Orienteering Championships in April 2005. Elite orienteers intending to take part competitively in that Championship event should enter Concorde Chase special course M/W21M, which does not use the BEOC area.'

ah. didnt know that.
im pretty sure that the sprint race is at sandhurst, as it was outlined for using at the world cups, then when they realised that would disquaify sarah rollins from running they moved it to battersea.

The National a few years ago on Southern Star Posts used the Sandhrst complex for parking etc, therefore I suspect that is why there is confusion, the names are interchangeable. I thought there was a rather large fence which encircled the military bit so I would have thought the two areas can easily be segregated

At least there is an online system for the JK. Looks like paper entries for the British. The latter even seems to want an SAE, even if final details and results will appear on web. What for?
Have to say, the bank balance took an awful kick in the stomach with JK weekend. £73 for 2 adults and one child. Ouch! There are times when I'm glad we've not got a bigger family.
At least we won't be paying the adult entries for the British (can't get there and back in the time available at anything less than a couple of hundred quid). Think we'll go off walking/cycling/running instead.
