Exclusive offer for nopers
As promised I will put on a coach from the JK event centre and campsite if there is sufficient demand. I have checked the prices with those being charged for the Scottish 6 days and believe they are reasonable - bearing in mind we are talking Easter weekend so here are the details.
Cost for 3 days bus transport: Adult £15, Junior/student £10.
On saturday the bus will leave at 8 am and on Sunday/Monday 9 am, returning all 3 days 3pm (possibly earlier on Monday).
Remember a car park pass is £5 for 3 days and Brown clee is a long way away. this bus service is costing £620 total - we will not be making any money.
This will be a 49 seater luxury coach (with loo). I would have prefered something less smart (and cheaper) but this is what there is.
I am giving nopesport users an exclusive preview of this but will put it on the JK and BOF websites on Monday. It is first come first served - and by that I mean cheques in my hand - if you want a seat pm me ASAP - if you have any questions ask them in this thread.
MarkC will reserve you and Blanka seats - please confirm you still want them and i'll send you payment details.

Hot news :
The 825 Stafford - Rugeley - Lichfield - Tamworth is the bus service which travels past the Rugby Club. It will depart Lichfield Bus Station which, is opposite Lichfield City Railway Station. The service is run by Arriva Midlands Red North. As timetables change from time to time please ring 0870 608 2608 or Staffordshire County Council passenger transport on 01785 276739 for up to date informaion for the Easter period.
As Lichfield is on a direct line from Birmingham New Street this means it is quite possible to do this year's Jk without any private transport
I already have 3 well known nopers signed up - do you really want to miss this opportunity?

6 possibly 8 nopers on the bus keep them coming - i float this in public on Monday - incidentally i notice that some of you booking bus tickets arn't actually booked on the camp site - don't forget to - and scribble something on the form if you want to be in the nope zone (please, please don't forget a self addressed stamped envelope)
This is going to be sooooo cool
Ha ha something funny happened then - I tried to put "possibly 8" in brackets and it came out as possibly

This is because they havent been opened by the recipient! It doesn't matter if the inbox is totally full.Mrs H. wrote:i have a number of messages in my out box - why arn't they going? surely not everyone has full in-boxes?

the b boy is right. they will stay in out till picked up, then they will move to sent. which means you can edit them up until the recipient picks them up. very handy for drunks who like to use nopesport late at night.

I must say at this stage - that - as My IOF contacts have been kind enough to point out - that tif any elite runners are thinking of taking the bus, this is an unofficial service for which the organisers can take no responsibility and that everyone travels at their own risk.
Apparently if i don't say this and elites are on the bus travelling to WRE races the organisers have to make all sort of contingency and back up plans which would be quite beyond us. Well rather than scrapping the idea and because lots of you have expressed appreciation (privately), i shall have to call this the Mrs H. Special (nothing whatsoever to do with the JK but just happening to be going to the same venue each day) Bus
aaargh

On that note if you're planning on doing that route don't forget to get tickets as far as Lichfield and not Birmingham. If you get caught on the Birmingham New Street - Lichfield City/Trent Valley route without a valid ticket you get landed a fairly hefty penalty fare!
So dont do it - you know it makes sense!
I hate penalty fares - they hurt
