What does this mean? that Scotland will no longer be attending the home Internationals - if so I think that's a shame. and anyway it says on the Scottish site:
"Team Selection for 2005
Selection for the team is always based on actual results achieved in relevant competition. Early in 2005 we will publicise the specific events that will form the basis of selection to the team. These are likely to be SOLs and Scottish Championships in the April – June timeframe. We also always consider results at previous Home Internationals, as these indicate ability to handle pressure of competition. Selection is decided by a panel of three knowledgeable and totally inscrutable individuals.
The 2005 event will be in NE England, on 12-13 November."
so are they going or arn't they?

As far as I know...
The new SOA performance team has somewhat reduced funds, and the executive agreed that they could spend it however they liked (i.e. they didn't have to spend it on nation vs nation matches with the same opposition each year.)
I'm sure some nation vs nation matches (e.g. SHI) will go ahead.
