Mhairi in as 1st finisher - 95.48 - looks a toughie as predicted winning times were 75 mins for 9.2k & 525m. She will get World cup points again.
Who is going to be 1st finisher on mens - my money is on Tilo Pompe or Kaltenbacher - all the other early starters are young seniors.
Ewan to hold off Speake & Kerschbaumer!
Glad i got a long run in early its pishing it down here now!

Looks a bit strange that all bar one of the Austrians retired. You would think they would be used to hilly terrain. They are all 1st year seniors, so perhaps not quite ready for long tough classic.
See the Japanese girls & 1 guy so far have stuck it out. At least 1 of them is going to get world cup points.
Mhairi could be heading for a top 20 result & Helen has already.
There is going to be some very tired legs for relay tomorrow!

Simone wins by a canter again but agreat result for Heather, looks like another top 10 for her in 8th place, Helen in 13th and another great result from Mhairi in 18th - both should finish in the top 15 & 20 respectively, Sarah in 27th.
Speake just pips Ewan, both doing 130 mins.

Dan now in 9th
Heather, Helen and Mhairi have finished in 8th, 13th and 19th respectively. Those results are final now cuz the remaining runners have been out longer than Mhairi's time. Great results all round, well done to the team!

Agree with Gross I think the courses were too long although dont know what the conditions were like.
But surely for the health/future of World Cups they should be shorter winning times at the end of a long season!?
Actual expected winning times were 100 for men & 75 for women.
Last two World Cups, mens long final has been around mid 80's & women around mid 60's.
