There's a nice article on page 3 (no less) of Edinburgh climber Jamie Andrew's impending expedition to Kilimanjaro as a member of an all disabled party. Hopefully his training at EUOC's event on the dunes at Gullane last February in a blizzard will set him in good stead on Kili's upper slopes! Good luck fella. An inspiration to everyone.

yeah this guy is a proper legend
he is the honary president of the edinburgh uni mountaineering club had some good chats with him a right inspiration but perhaps not for hard winter alpinism. he goes for everything outdoors and manages a hell of lot with his disability. he is also a great speaker reels of his experiences and chats quite freely about his accident
he does a hell a lot of running etc for charity so if you ever get the chance to sponser him do it
