I don't know whether anyone else has commented on this, but when BOF quietly took down the old website last month, lots of the boring but useful and necessary bits of information which were squirrelled away on the old site disappeared and have yet to re-appear on the new one.
This afternoon I've looked for the Yvette Baker Trophy rules, the revised Trail-O rules and, during conversation with another club member, the BOF Rules. They aren't there, and if you try to hunt for them via Google, the links it finds don't work.
The Yvette Baker rules have appeared on nopesport, thank heavens (and after months of lurking on the site, I've even got round to registering for it) and I found the Trail-O rules via the IOF site. I don't need the BOF rules at the moment, but as the new domestic season starts, we will need them to be available soon.
I'm sure that we are all pleased to know who the various new sponsors for BOF are, but please can we have the boring bits of the website back soon.

I had also searched new website unsuccessfully for YB rules before ringing BOF office to ask for them. They came by e mail within 5 mins of phone call. Search engine on website had not found them (despite lots of refs to "Yvette Baker") so suspect they weren't there.Presume this is some problem with the site construction again, as lots of the bits I regularly used to look at still haven't re-appeared.
Was in too much of rush to rejoin team at PPs to explain this when I put them on nopesport, and thought some others might have wanted them to use with their juniors that afternoon/evening.
Importance of this to club coaches/junior team captains shouldn't be underestimated. PPs was a rare chance to get juniors and parents together after summer, and brief people on Autumn junior team competitions, whilst team spirit on the boil. This is otherwise difficult if you have a very spread out club. In the event, didn't get a chance to stop the team fun and do this, so we'll have to revert to e mail/post/phone again once W.Mids fixture definitely confirmed!

The main Rules and Guidelines page is still around, mainly because it's hosted by Simon Errington rather than BOF. From the main BOF page, it's linked via the 'temporary link' at the bottom of the page, then Event Standards Committee, or you can go straight to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/simon.errington/boftc/techcomm.htm
