Great Race.
Bekele is certainly a great athlete.
Also interestingly was the way the 3 Ethiopean runners appeared to be running together as a team even though they were racing for medals.

not half!
that 53 sec last lap was amazing, with lapped runners falling like flies. We were pinned to our seats for the whole race despite no British presence. Great runs by the Ugandan and the guy from Eritrea (I think) too.

i thought it was amazing how the two younger runners yo-yoed the pace to let gabri back up to the leading pack. They looked rattled when Gabri dropped off the back. They so wanted him to win his 3rd!

It was amazing. Apprently Bekele's 17 year old brother is faster than Bekele senior was at the same age. Watch out for him...

Bekele is an absolute legend! But Gabri will always be the great man in my opinion-purely because of the type of person he is along with his brilliant results
