Question for the OCAD experts…
We recently held an event using a map that was extracted from a map that originally covered a larger area. I was supplied with a JPEG file and associated JGW for upload to RouteGadget.
However… the JGW file is clearly not right. I think it’s taking its origin location from the original map, not the cut down one.
Can anyone suggest how to avoid this when producing a cut-down map such as this please?
Thanks!

Re: OCAD georeferencing question
I had a similar problem recently. The jgw file information is related to the pixels in the image.
If the image has been created from a different source to the jgw file, the pixels will probably not be the size that the jgw file expects. Then the map in routegadget won't be georeferenced correctly.
I fixed the problem by creating the jpeg and the jgw files from the same source - openomap in my case.
