A reminder that the Scottish 6-Days Very Early Bird discounts expire this Friday (31st Jan), but if you want to beat the deadline I'd get a move on if I was you - it took me ages to enter the family!
They've used a new (to me) entry system called njuko, which leaves a lot to be desired in terms of ease of use - certainly for multiple entries. After eventually getting to the end of the process it took my money but I didn't receive a confirmation email - despite having added my email address about 20 times during the process! We also didn't appear on the entry list.
Eventually I found an option to ask for the confirmation email to be re-sent and it appeared this time so I guess we're entered. We're still not on the entry list - hopefully that will get updated eventually.
I'm all for competition and hopefully the S6D team are saving a bit of cash, but perhaps someone from S6D can have word with njuko so they can give some thought to how they handle multi-day, multi-entrant competitions in future and fix the problems with confirmation emails and updates.

Also, there isn't an event campsite this year in an area short of affordable holiday accomodation so it would be a good idea to find somewhere to sleep before trying the oddball booking system.

Re: Scottish 6-Days Entries
Another potential problem is when you have people travelling together from different clubs. In the past, we have been able to assign the whole party to one club for the purposes of grouping entry times.
No facility this year for doing this within the entry process, but apparently we will get to choose start times within club blocks later - we'll see whether this permits both of us to pick start times from the block for the same club.
