A date for all those new diaries (and all those old electronic calendars)
Next year’s event will take place over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, 24th – 26th May, based in Ludlow. There will be a social event in Ludlow on the Sunday evening, and the three orienteering events offer a variety of formats. More information on the SINS website.
Day 1 Saturday 24th May – Urban event in Ludlow.
Day 2 Sunday 25th May – Middle distance event on Rorrington & Stapeley.
Day 3 Monday 26th May – Long race on Titterstone Clee.

What is a middle style event?
The main difference between a 'middle distance' event and the traditional 'long distance' event is the planning style (continuous navigation, lots of direction changes, no long track legs), although middle distance events are shorter hence the name.
Since you say 'middle style' rather than 'middle distance' I guess this is not a normal middle distance event. Is it a full-length event planned in the middle distance style?

Re: Springtime in Shropshire 2025
Sorry Ian - I don't really mean anything by "middle style"; as a recreational orienteer to my core I'm probably the wrong person to write this sort of copy! I'll alter the website to "middle distance" which is what i've been told
