Shrewsbury urban, August bank holiday Sunday

Following the cancellation of this year’s White Rose, Wrekin Orienteers are staging an urban event in lovely, historic Shrewsbury on Sunday 25 August (as far as I can see, the only event at Regional level or higher that weekend anywhere north of London!).

It will be included in the West Midlands Urban League (and still a chance to get a full set of counters!).

For anyone wanting some additional entertainment, it's also the weekend of the Shrewsbury folk festival (one of the biggest in the country). It may (no promises!) still be possible to get tickets...

We had already booked for the Shrewsbury Folk Festival and, because there are open start times, can get back for the first act we want to see at 12.30. Nice scheduling!
