I did a detailed reply to this and other of Pete's comments, but found that spitalfields had said pretty much everything I wanted to say, so just to second their post!
And I agree with fozzy - far fewer courses, and just award relevant trophies within courses. Whether I'd go to his 'extremes' I'm not sure, but I definitely agree with the principles.
