Hi, Been getting on ok with RG and standard colour course events to load up.
Issue is with a recent score event. Follow the normal process of exporting RG files from Purple Pen.
All goes ok uploading map plus gfw, results and xml. Controls are scattered as per score map.
If I select the "Individual courses (butterfly, score, relay)" as I thought I should then create the event. When I select the only course available in RG only the start/finish (in same place) control is shown. No control sites.
If I do not select the "Individual courses" option it creates 1 course and joins all the control sites together as if it was a line course.
Am I missing a trick to create a score event in RG.
Thanks

Re: RG - Score event
From an esteemed colleague of mine :
Prepare a gif of the map with all the controls on, i.e. exactly the same map as was used by competitors at the event. Add this map to RG, then when you create the event select the no results file box, but do not tick the individual course (score etc) box, since as far as RG knows everyone runs the same course. Add a course, changing the name from "course" if you like, and only point to the start and finish on the map, then click create event with just these two points defined. It helps if you don't place the start and finish in exactly the same place otherwise RG thinks people are clicking on the finish too soon when drawing their course.
Participants are then prompted to manually enter both their name and time taken when plotting their route / uploading gps track.

Possibly, and you definitely don't need to put controls on the map image file.
If you can send me the course file, results file and map file then I will have a look.
