A GB Men's team featuring Kris, Sasha and one-time orienteer Jon Albon took team gold today in the 'Trail Short' race (a mere 45km with 3000m of climb) at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Innsbruck, with Kris finishing 8th.
Cat Taylor was also running in the Women's race, where Judith Wyder took individual silver.
The (actually much shorter) 'Mountain Classic' race Saturday offers a fair bit of international orienteering interest, the highlight of which will be seeing who out of Natalia Gemperle and Tove is faster in a pure head-to-head running race, just a month before a similarly Alpine WOC.
