I am co-ordinating the British "Amateur Radio Direction Finding Team" for this year's World Championships
It is essentially orienteering - O Kit, O-Maps, O-Rules except the controls are not marked on the map - you use a radio receiver to home in on them. Russians, Ukrainians and Czechs always win.
We were the only team at last year's European Champs who turned up in civvies - much to the embarrasment of our placard bearer:

Anyway - BOF are letting the ARDF and Trail-O World Champs teams purchase some "un-logoed" Squad Track Suits. My canny team are unwilling to part with the cash sight unseen - I have searched the BOF site and the web and can't find a picture - do you know where I might find a photo of the current design Adidas track suits - or can you describe them to me!

What does the current British Squad Tracksuit Look Like?

GB kit is GB kit and you should be pround of the opportunity... unless all you want is to prance around in Tesco's carpark afterwards:)
I think the issue is more that they are unsure whether to adopt the GB Orienteering Kit as their own or do something else.

Well I suppose that Mr Gross is correct in that we are pretty much a bunch of ?walkers?
We are not a BOF team - ARDF is run through a different organisation (RSGB) though most of us are also orienteers. we can always source our own kit - however BOF has already set up a link with Adidas and have offered to help us out with some kit that we can "customise" - and we just want to check that is suitable
Designs have varied over the years - I am pretty sure that gross2004 would not want to be seen dead in my 1982 model GB Team O-Kit

excuse me for pointing it out, but what a grumpy/jobby load of messages to read on the first day of my holiday! Aren't any of you frightening close enough to a squad member to take a quick promotional digital photo, and let this extra-ordinary group of people, (and a new nope poster to boot) see what they are missing?

I have just sent OldManHOC a PM. For those of you who have not seen what the tracksuits look like I am sending a couple of other pics from JWOC, so hopefully they will go up in the gallery later.

in my humble opinion....
i'm sure this opinion has been piped around in the past and i didn't always conform to it... however...
theres too much squad kit floating around.
it should be for the full GB Junior and Senior squads only. i'e those selected into the squad in october before the Inaugural 'going for gold weekend.
Start squad should have kit but it should be completely different to that of the full squad members.
Having that BRITISH TEAM tracksuit should be a goal that is hard to achieve!
