Definitely off-line. https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/com ... ttps&www=1
I'm getting an 'Error establishing a database connection' error, which occurs when a WordPress website cannot access its database for some reason.

Re: Compass Point
Given the number of negative reviews in this thread, I thought I might report that I ordered a pair of shoes through the website and received them in a couple of days.

Re: Compass Point
Rom has been having difficulty getting items from the manufacturers. He has recently fixed the website so that it is not possible to put an order in for an item that he does not have in stock.
He is going to have a check and look for orders that came in before the website was changed. He is also going to check that his stock list is up to date. He is currently working through his emails and getting in touch with customers if he is unable to process their order.
If you have any problems in future, please ring Rom and leave a message on the answer phone rather than emailing: 01386 641910.

I'm pleased with KanPas after getting a discount voucher at the Cambridge City Race last year (CUOC get some sponsorship from them). They do a whole range of compasses including religious(!).

The body/bezel is a little chunkier than the Moscow I had before and they are apparently shipped from China (you also get another discount voucher with the order). I'm surprised that no-one seems to stock them in this country.

Re: Compass Point
Good to see orienteering training & events starting up again.
Decided to review my footwear before I tackle the British Middles & Northerns in June, so ordered a new pair of VJ Bold from Rom.
Ordered Tuesday evening, arrived Saturday whilst I was in Graythwaite coaching, and worn this morning whilst collecting the last of the kites from "the Green".
Glad Compass Point has made it through the lockdowns, and providing very prompt service.

Ordered 2 x Vapro glasses on Monday. They sent them special delivery so I could leave early Friday to race in the Lakes.

Re: Compass Point
I checked here before ordering, so if anyone is curious Compass Point are definitely trading. Ordered at the weekend a pair of Icebugs and they arrived today. Thanks Rom.
