Re: JK 2020 entries
Deadline for entries is this Sunday.
Deadline for changes to course is Monday 16th.
Worth a check of your entry just to make sure you've not accidentaly entered the sprint etc.

Thankyou for entering the JK 2020 in the North East of England! This email contains a few things to be aware of as we prepare for the event.
Firstly, our timetable for the next few weeks:
Individual entries close midnight Sunday 15th March.
Entries can be edited, for no charge, up to midnight Monday 16th March. After this any changes to class entered will incur a £5 administration fee
Start time allocation will be done in the following week.
We aim to publish start times and final details no later than Friday 27th March (two weeks before the event).
After 15th March this there is NO FURTHER ENTRY to competitive classes. Encourage your clubmates to enter if they haven’t already! There is ‘entry on the day’ at the event, but only to the novice sprint course on day 1, and white, yellow, orange and light green courses on days 2&3.
After 16th March:
Changes to class entered will be subject to a £5 administration fee, and subject to very limited availability of maps on your new course.
Changes to name, club, SI card number are free.
Changes to start time / start block preference are NOT PERMITTED (unless as part of a change of class).
We strongly encourage all competitors to double check their entry details, especially those who entered weeks or months ago. Please check the classes entered, start block preferences, SI card numbers, etc. Every year several participants are “surprised” when the start lists are published with them in a different class to what they incorrectly recall having entered. Please check your details on the entry lists now here (don't forget to check all days), and any changes can be made by the entry owner here.

Re: JK 2020 entries
Please appreciate that any cancellations made today will be processed, it may just take a bit longer than immediate.
Refunds are being made on entry fees only at the moment. A decision on merchandise will be made going forward.
A decision on the JK re. Covid-19 is to be made next week.
Everyone so far has been very understanding of the unprecedented circumstances.

As the statement on the website says:
www.thejk.org.jk wrote:We will make refunds within 3 weeks - please bear with us.
That was from the day we cancelled, which was 16th March. So we are hoping to get refunds out by 6th April.
Just to give you a sense of the scale of what is going on behind the scenes here in the event organising industry, I'll give you a quote from a recent SiEntries email to organisers:
SiEntries wrote:For the past 10 days we have been working with 150 event organisations and 250 events that were due to take place over the next few months. Our team of 6 have been putting in very long hours to provide administrative/business support.... [for refunds etc.].

Thanks,
Knowing the rough date will help with juggling the credit card balance.
