Re: JEC 2019
And there's another medal in the W20 race for Grace Molloy, Silver in 15.08, to break up an all-Swiss medal podium.
Other results from the U20s
Niamh Hunter - 32nd in 16.54
Tara Schwartze-Chintipatla - 49th in 18.45
Zac Hudd - 22nd in 15.02
Alastair Thomas has no recorded time, so either he mispunched or he didn't start.

Perhaps not Freefall.
News coming in that there's been a protest from an early starter in W20 that they were disadvantaged in some way, and the course has been voided.
I now have some clarity on the situation. The first W20 runner dislodged the download unit from the stake. Although there was a backup pin punch, there was no indication on the bare stake as to which control number it was.
A fresh unit was added later in the day, but apparently about half of the entry was affected.

Re: JEC 2019
It was the SI unit at control 1 that got dislodged early on apparently. There was a backup pin punch but it sounds like the control code was only on the dislodged SI unit and so no code was visible....
Why did I do that...
