Another great race. Surprising mistakes from the Norway men, but running at home always creates extra pressure. The terrain this week has been phenomenal - I suppose I ought to get myself to Scandinavia some day before my knees seize up.

Re: WOC 2019
Ralph took direct route to penultimate control. same grot Cat got in.
Daehli lost it initially in the same area as Pete and Ralph obviously trickier than it looked.
The contours on the map look clear but the Tv shots just show green lumpy forest, suspect I could have been out there for days.

Well done ladies on getting an extra runner in the long race in 2021.blairtrewin wrote:Given that it hasn't gone up on the IOF website yet, I've put the provisional team points (for 2021 long slot allocations) up temporarily on the OA website at http://orienteering.asn.au/wp-content/u ... -2021.xlsx. Short version is that the British women look to have a good chance of getting their 3rd woman back (they need to finish within 4 places of Estonia and 6 of Poland in the relay), but the men need either a very big performance themselves or a mispunch by someone else.
