The 2019 IOF World TrailO Champs (WTOC) is taking place in Portugal from the 23-29th June.

But in a nutshell the dates (and people involved are):
25/6 and 27/6 PreO Days 1 and 2 (PreO results are from the 2 days combined)
Para: Colin Duckworth TVOC, Richard Keighley WIM
Open: Charles Bromley Gardner BAOC, Tom Dobra BOK, John Kewley MDOC
28/6 TrailO Relay
The 3 person team is to be selected by the Team Manager Liz Urquhart from those present
29/6 TempO (no separation of Open and Para - there is a separate qualifier and final)
Ian Ditchfield MVOC, Tom Dobra BOK, Peter Huzan SLOW, John Kewley MDOC
All individual competitions will be world ranking events

The team will be training from this Thursday in POR and have a 2 day "warm up" event this weekend which counts for the European TrailO Cup.

Looks like GB in 4th position on the relay (2 second down on Spain) going into the TempO station on the final leg.

TempO all correct for JK - but so were the top 3 so GB stay 4th.

Control 21 was voided, which demoted Slovakia to the advantage of Spain, who took the Silver and GBR. So eventually GBR finished 3rd and took the Bronze medal.
In the PreO section, all three team members made no mistakes. In the TempO section, JK scored 5/5, whilst Tom Dobra and Charles Bromley Gardner made one error each.
A great team effort in temperatures well in excess of 30C.
