Re: British Champs Results
If you really wanted to put someone off from volunteering then some of these comments are definitely the way to go. There was live results coverage onscreen all day every day but you did have to go to it. there was also wifi every day although somewhat restricted in range. What exactly do you want? Your own personal results coverage available anywhere in Western Europe so that you can sit at home and moan. I'm stopping now before I say something that i'll regret.

I'll hold my hand up and say I was wrong about no WiFi on Sunday. I checked on my phone and nothing came up so I just assumed, so apologies. Also I never saw the screens on Sunday BUT the screens & Wi-Fi were working fine on Monday and I used them both....maybe a bit more publicity would have been good?? For the 6days we are looking at live online results (available in Western Europe) and wifi for up to 2000 connections (like at WMOC last year) but not planning on 20 large screens on scaffolding. Trialling a new Wi-Fi set-up at Scottish Champs in 3 weeks.

If you never saw the screens on Sunday, how could you have used them?

Hang on a minute there's no need to be abusive - its perfectly reasonable to give feedback to volunteers or professionals as well as suggesting ideas for the future.
The results/web team had hoped to post the final results sooner on Sunday and did so on Monday, and if there were any issues with the arena results they were niggles and the majority thought they were fine.
Personally I think that an automated live results system would improve the results service and I imagine save volunteer time. Failing that then posting provisional results during or shortly after the event would be great for early starters to check on their way home and allow friends and family at home to keep up with the event. Neither are requirements under BO rules for major event so not a criticism of the BOC organisers.
To oblivion and beyond....

Re: British Champs Results
How is the UK doing compared to other nations we should be aspiring to like? Live results in Sweden is becoming the norm. For relays too of course. The go to website is https://liveresultat.orientering.se/ and other nations, as you see, use it too. Note the local Stockholm O Gymnasium (founders of SiC) used it 4 days ago for a club champs. I have found it excellent and the results stay on there so you have something to look at before official results are published.
