You'll park in the village hall carpark - so thats a benefit to you... Not sure of other 2 events (worth contacting organisers), though Sunday has parking at Aboyne Community Centre/Academy so there should be space there for a large truck

Bus from airport to Aberdeen centre then bus out (from same depot) to Deeside. Deeside buses (201 or 202) are pretty regular.

Has anyone had any trouble getting through airport security with CREE headtorch battery packs? Looking at the rules I'm guessing that mine would exceed the 100Wh limit as I have a 6x8.4v pack and a spare...

According to the UK civil aviation authority you can fly with quite large batteries but you would have to work out the Watt hour rating.

I have certainly flown with 2 bike light batteries each inside a plastic zip bag with the Wh calculation marked on the outside in pen. They were 6.8Amp h and 14.8 v. They have to go in your hand luggage and the terminals isolated to prevent short circuits.
