Why is it that Scotland "really ought to win"?
Scotland has about 8% of the UK population. I'm fairly sure it has a higher proportion of UK-wide orienteering numbers but not massively so. If it is ahead of the English regions and Wales and Northern Ireland then it is because it has developed training for juniors.
