SPOOK wins first leg!
(also if being pedantic, Team GB is reserved for the GB Olympic team)

At least Ralph's team is still in the race. Kris's team DQ'd on leg 2
Martin Ward, SYO (Chair) & SPOOK.
I'm a 1%er. Are you?

Looks like the Ukrainian train service has changed timetable without telling anyone - not many on the Night Train tonight.

It certainly is not an AAOC team. Neither is it a SPOOK team.
Two team members are AAOC but I've learned after all these years not to hold it against them too much. I do object to anybody considering that I might be a member of AAOC.
Only one team member ever went to Sheffield University and says he's not really SPOOK.
It's a West Yorkshire Orienteers team. It's only a made up club used to enter foreign races but it's been around for a while. It's not a clique. We'll have anybody.

Only if we're desperate
One team member has recently seen the light and moved from MDOC to SYO....

Re: Jukola 2018
Venla last leg looked like brutal sport- if you go out in the lead, you really don't want to have the 1514th fastest spilt out of 1515 teams...
and even the winners seemed to have come a cropper on that emit stand at the end

Jamie Stevenson Trophy on Sunday - all juniors managed to handle Emit brikkes fine and no failures of forest units or brikkes... seems that our juniors could teach some seniors a thing or two about handling tricky technology...

The way some competitors were leaning on the units ( to get a backup punch) was suprised the hurdles didn't collapse.
