I can only assume the login feature was an attempt at a "Freemium" business model. Ie hide content behind a login to encourage joining BO/renewing a subscription.
Unfortunately this business model assumes the content behind the login is sufficiently interesting to encourage enough subscriptions to outweigh the downsides - eg people not seeing BO news, a better events list, development information etc because they've forgotten their password, or because they're not members.
Does anyone know if there are any plans to remove the login?

Aside from accessing your membership details the login is also the method for specified club members to enter event data, upload results, add participation data etc. Doing this via the BOF website is an efficient method (for me) so the login should stay for this at least.

Yes I agree Neil (and so does probably everyone else). I should have said "remove the extra logins added in the last major change to the website" (ie back to before where you only had to login to access personal data etc).
