I'm pretty happy at the way sportScotland (and eventScotland) promoted the 6-day and WOC, (and Park World tour, and racethecastles etc.) helping SOA to bring sport, big events and tourist income to more remote areas with various associated legacy benefits. sportScotland are pretty happy about a load of mainly well-paid professionals giving their time and skills to drive the sportScotland agenda.
What did BO do with the sportEngland (&Welsh) money? What do sportEngland have to show for it? Quite a bit I hope, after all that budget is about 8 times bigger.

sorry, but I'm not interested in bribing ourselves with our own money. Getting external money is indeed tough, and typically requires matched funding. Reducing clubs' ability to do that in order to end money round in circles would be a terrible idea.
