Yes in a nutshell. The trouble is what BOF stands for is not in practice what we have seen on the ground up here possibly ever. I sympathise to an extent because what it stands for is impossible to reconcile with the practicalities of the current UK government funding structure. But that doesnt mean we have to like it. BOF could do a lot more to bring Scottish orienteering into the fold than it doesn, notwithstanding the efforts of some recent BOF chairpersons.
