Scottish Inter-Area competition
Any results online for the 2 days? Heard various reports and know overall outcome but details would be interesting and helpful...

Relay results Jon https://fvo.org.uk/media/events/2017/oct/28/jiar-2017/index.html.
Not seen any team points summary though - I'm sure it will all appear after everyone gets home and draws breath.

Thanks for that - something at least, but no overall score of either individual or relay...

Re: Scottish Inter-Area competition
It sounds from our club chat group on Facebook that it was a brilliant weekend, and hats off to everyone involved in making it so.
Given how easy it is to get news out via social media, I'd love to see SOA putting their published strategy in to action and making more use of social media. We need to get the word out more about this sort of thing so it's not just those in the know who find out about it.

I'd heard that North won, but hey-ho does it really matter, the juniors had a good weekend and there were pinecones at Drummond Hill

Re: Scottish Inter-Area competition
Freefall has tried to get reports onto the SOA website which can then spread out via social media. I would welcome a report about the Junior Inter Area competition (as it is more properly called) and hopefully this will come sooner rather than later. I heard the North won as well!

I'm also posting rumours not official results, so I may be wrong. It's somehow taken out of the hands of the controller. Regardless of whether West or North actually won, East had the biggest improvement and best new hoodies.

Good to get competition closer between the 3 areas.

And the East got sweets and a wooden spoon, which my daughter declared better than coming second as the West just got sweets and nothing else.

Maybe there needs to be a first loser trophy as well?

East last throughout, except girls relays Maybe its because the area are based to the athletics & cross country East/North/West districts, but rebalanced so that east lose members and terrain from FVO, MAROC and GRAMP (and EUOC).

What has EUOC got to do with East area losing members and terrain?
