A few opinions::
In a lot of uk forests it is exceptionally difficult to win from first start, unless all of the seeded block goes off early.
Trains change the sport into something different - and crap.
At the o-ringen last day they stagger the start times of the various classes throughout the morning so they can really focus on the victor of more than just the elite classes. Is there scope to do this in the British orienteering championships? The obvious advantage the o-ringen has that it is a chasing start format so the first home wins, whereas at the British champs a seeded group off early could get beaten by a last starter.
