Re: JWOC
Tough luck for Nathan, not having the run I know he'll have hoped for.
In another topic though I'm not too sure about our tactics in picking the team order. Putting your best runner on last leg seems to work pretty well for the other nations (Hadorn, Imark, Ojanaho and Heimdal for Sui, Swe, Fin and Nor respectively) so why couldn't it work for us by putting Sasha on last? Just interested as to the reasoning behind the order that was picked. I'm sure lots of time has been put into thinking about it and so im sure there's probably a good reason!

They say you learn from your mistakes, hope it works for him never has for me.
That's orienteering , relax for a second and it'll bit you, especially in that runnable but vague type of area. . it was the exit from 5 was it that gapped him else he would probably have been with a group going into the last gaffle which would have kept him online.
team 2 seemd to have a solid run , Harrison wasn't it?
Always another run...roll on the Scottish.

Re: JWOC
Horrible mistake from the swede when she seemed to be catching Norway.
jennifers seems to have missed her gaffle, can't have been by much.
recovered well.

Very exciting to watch all this from the NT cafe in deepest darkest Cornwall, using the free wifi, getting weird looks from all the punters after the Parkrun....
But you can have too much excitement for one day .... Well done to GBR2 in the mens

Re: JWOC
Damn, thought Grace was going to catch the Swiss 2nd team, she was really motoring but veered too far S of the control.
Still time yet , got to get that last gaffle right.
now its me who should know better.
must be really vague around that control 8. Now its Russia going for a walk in the woods.
Grace showing good pace at the finish to get ahead of the group she was with.
(Note to self, practice compass bearings for Scotland. )
