Re: Venla, Jukola
So very few mistakes by the top teams in Venla and Jukola. In Jukola the final top 3 were in the top 5 after 2 legs. It meant not much for TV in the way of errors and position changes, but many very impressive performances in finding "demanding" controls.

No reason to think any of the GB WOC athletes have collected injuries, and they all seem to have another creditable run in this enormous competition behind them.
Halden 1 with Jo and Hollie (2nd fastest leg time behind Simone Niggli) were 6th.
Jonathan gets a top 10 with Ravinen - Ruslan Glebov and Gustav Bergman both with second best leg times took them into 10th from 30th at the end of leg 5. Alan was 22nd best time on the long night. Ralph took one of the shorter legs with SNO this year and was fastest - the team were 4th.
The commentary was enthusiastic in some mentions of Edinburgh University. Doug Tullie (coming in 19th after the long night) got several credits, although one used English as a synonym for British.
We heard the Danish team were on a training camp in Estonia instead - I'm not sure that would be possible (or desirable) for anyone else.
Of possible minor interest: it was said 1300 purchases of the internet TV.
