Does anyone have a source of waterproof paper for map printing? My previous supplier has stopped selling it.
What type, quality, any problems and also cost would be helpful to know.

Re: Waterproof paper
What paper weight is normally used? This looks promising:

No personal experience though.
(this is laser printer only - with different versions for desktop and production printers)

Re: Waterproof paper
Jon GRAMP often use Let's Talk Print in Dundee to do the Summer Series maps. I don't know where they buy their waterproof paper from though?

Might be worth giving them a call?

Iain Smith-Ward has just put in an order for paper. He is currently Chair of Lakeland OC if you want to contact him to find out where he got it from.

I believe the order was for about (at least) 1 tonne of Pretex, enough to keep the region going for 12-18 months.
