I just wanted to give a much-deserved plug to everyone involved with the Scottish Schools O Fest which is tomorrow (Friday), both event volunteers and those who have cajoled schools in to taking part. Also (in Moray's case) to solicitors Innes & Mackay (Inverness) who have shelled out £650 to lay on a free bus. Blair Young and his gang have over 60 schools and about 400 pupils involved, from Fortrose in the North to Dumfries in the south as well as schools on east and west coasts.
I think it's great for the sport to see this sort of thing happening. Wish I could have been there.

Well done Innes & Mackay for that gesture. Will they also be laying on a bus to escort Inverness Caley Thistle players to the city limits?

Aboyne Academy bus is part supported by a Run Balmoral grant - good to see some of the high entry fees going to a good local cause!

Re: Scottish Schools Festival
I know this is a bit positive to have on Nopesport, but what can you say about the results service. All the individual results and team results up on the web not long after the kids had set off home. Great that parents etc will have been able to see how they did before they got home.
For those kids (and parents) who know nothing about the club scene it must have given a tremendous impression of the sport of orienteering, so again the wellest of well dones to all concerned.
