Forth Valley Orienteers (FVO) bring you an exciting weekend of top quality orienteering near Aberfoyle on 1st & 2nd April. A middle race on South Achray on the Saturday (part of the UK Elite O League) followed by a Scottish O League (SOL) and a UK Elite O League race on Sunday at Trossachs (used for a 1988 World Cup race).

Also Scottish Champs same time as WC..... 1998 might have been an Elite Test??? Also SHI and Scot v Lithuania............................

The WRE might have been with a SOL in 2013... I remember as I picked up the wrong map that day and didn't realise until 3rd control

It was won by Öyvin Thon in 83:44 and 2nd was Mikael Wehlin in 88:15.....underplanned then.

Yes, but it was easy-life six and a half mins/km terrain back then*. Nobody got inside 9mins/km at the 2013 WRE.

Indeed we are... although I may now need to extend the Black course from it's current 8km if someone like Öyvin turns up...
