This means at all activities and all events. I'm not going to dispute the requirement - I can see that it is good practice, and you see it being done at other sporting events (e.g. fell, road, cycling races, etc.).
However, it is an organisational hassle. At our events we use SPORTident with AutoDownload. To register today you just insert your SI card at registration, your details come up on the computer (name, class, club, etc.), and the person on registration just has to set your course and take your money (hiring SI cards is more work). I'm wondering what to do to meet this clubmark requirement? I would like to NOT have entrants filling in paper entry forms at ALL events (although I know some clubs already do this today, so for them to meet the requirement they just need a couple more questions on their form). I understand it is not necessary to collect these details at every event, it suffices to collect once per year say. So I'm thinking of a process where at the first of our events you compete in in a given calendar year, you do have to complete a paper form, but thereafter you don't (and we somehow know that you have already completed one - I haven't quite figured that bit out yet).
What are other clubs doing to meet this requirement?
