Would you like to work for one of the UK's most successful orienteering clubs? Are you passionate about coaching and development? Then please read on....
Forth Valley Orienteers require a part-time coaching and development coordinator to extend our programme of volunteer-led activities, including organising weekly coaching sessions, mentoring volunteer coaches, expanding coaching opportunities to all levels of ability, and organising introductory events in the local community. The emphasis is on making our events regular, local, friendly and supportive. Through this program, the club will attract and retain more new members, increase participation in the sport, and provide a more structured coaching support to all members.
Full details of this exciting opportunity can be found here: https://fvo.org.uk/news/2016/nov/28/were-hiring/
Closing date Friday 16th December 2016.

Out of interest, how are you funding this? If my maths is right it will be between £3,000 and £4,000 per year, which I guess isn't a huge amount so many clubs could fund this out of reserves / event profit? Or did you get a grant?
