If you were to be trying to persuade the organiser of an adventure film festival to include some orienteering, what would you suggest? I’d like to propose one or two elements in a 90 minute slot being marketed to runners, not orienteers, which might have 10-15 short videos. He does occasionally use stuff straight from youtube (with permission), but would prefer more “finished” videos.
The most exciting video I know about is 2013 Monsanto Sprint (Tomas Dlabaja’s headcam footage of orienteering through boulders then downhill through the village alleys), but the inset maps don't last the whole way and is it too wobbly for a big screen?
I did find this from Fred Tranchard’s blog. The headcam forage for the first half is good (it must be hard to keep your head up all the time; the headcam video that youtube followed up with shows how easy it is to have a lot of footage of the ground). The second half through the snow looks good to an orienteer, but might have runners thinking “this isn’t running”.
Better suggestions? For headcam footage to appeal to non-orienteers, I think it has to be sprint.

the World Sprint Champs video in Venice was good, especially if you were familiar with Venice - I watched live and realised at the time Hubmann had taken the wrong route at the end so blowing his chance of Gold (22.08 in)

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away I suggested this video.
Quality is not great, but still worth watching to the end.
