we are trying to get as much footage as we can right now to put together as part of our media packs. one for attracting freshers to the sport, and another for school kids. these packs will comprise good quality images as well as video, for use at fairs etc, with some other bits and pieces chucked in too. obviously there are quite a few people in the burgh to film, but it would be great to get some other faces on camera. 2 perfect opportunities are the rat race this weekend and the 2 breweries race later in the year.
who is going to either?
would any of you be interested in allowing us to film you at some point over the weekend, outwith the races i mean?
it would be much appreciated if you could, it wont take up much energy, just doing some staged running in terrain, maybe a bit of punching etc. if u want to be involved (or at least wouldnt mind) please post here and bring some nice clothes to run in. no minging kit please, we want this to look nice.
all standards of runner/orienteer wanted, male and female, young and old.
please?
also if any of you are comng to the burgh at any other time over the summer, please let us know if we could film you. it wont take long.
thank you in advance for your help.

I wouldn't mind being filmed if you're still needing people. I'm sure my school kids would find watching Mrs Godfree running highly amusing

Wouldn't mind be filmed as well. i'm in edinburgh over the whole summer, but I will not be at the rat race or this other one. anyhow a training session would be good for me. so just let me know when and how and what clothes you would like to see me in. I'll try to come to the sprint-O tomorrow evening, but suggest something more green for the filming...

"minging". A slang term for something (or person) which looks and/or smells unpleasant or distasteful. It is a relatively new word in English.

It has been in southern England longer than that (i.e. it was around back when I was in school).
