He's running 33 1/3 miles on his 33 1/3 birthday. Looks an excellent route. Wish I could do the distance stuff without falling to pieces.

In third now. I thought 55 had got injured and was heading home but looks like he unfortunately just went wrong. I'd better go and do something rather than stare at my computer. Did 5k at the cancelled Parkrun earlier, ran round with a lass who also didn't know it had been cancelled (big biker funeral) who liked the idea of orienteering as she'd got lost doing the East Highland way and wanted to improve her navigation and have something her kids can do too.

He came 4th although made up some time catching his third placed man on the descent. Really impressed with the times on this run considering the mountains they're going over. They did both swirrel and striding edge on Helvellyn. I don't cope well with exposed heights especially descending them.
I think I'll stick with the nice meal out and champagne format for my birthday.
