This issue could be pretty close to our sport - see recent stories about fellrunner Lauren Jeska who has recently been jailed for 18 years for attempted murder following a dispute with UK athletics.

Re: male to female trasexuals now able to compete in olympi
Intersex and chromosomal anomalies are a very very small percentage of transexuals/ people having to prove their gender in high level sport.
Female to male transexuals also rarely cause controversy in sport because most genetic women competing as men would be at a disadvantage due to the physiological and anatomical differences between male and female bodies. Testosterone levels are only part of it.
I do find the pretence that this isn't disadvantaging genetic women very misogynistic, but women seem to be less scary than the transexual lobbies.

Freefall - its even nearer, but I don't expect violence to result.
Frog - I do agree. It now seems that someone raised as a male and living as a male, with male hormones for many decades, can now declare they are a trans woman and compete in women's classes.
No testing, and for obvious confidentiality reasons, no transparency.
Do I feel disadvantaged? Yes. Am I brave enough to make a fuss - No.
I know it is important to look after the very vocal minority, that doesn't mean that the majority have to be happy about it. But any objectors will be accused of "lack of understanding and empathy"
(And that quote is from a person who was convicted as a rapist when a man, became a trans woman in prison, and has been granted their demand to be placed in a women's prison.)
