Re: European Champs
30 per heat for the women and 42 for the men, with the best 17 from each heat going into the A final. Expected winning times of 25 minutes - no pressure!

Re: European Champs
A storming run by Cat T, wish i could miss and do as well. Suppose the gps is slightly out as she seemed to bypass the last control, nearly gave me a heart attack but time came up ok.

Re: European Champs
suspect some of the top names might be running within themselves just to qualify....a dicey decision, sometimes it can go very wrong.

3 out of 5 girls (Hollie didn't start) to the A Final.
Well done Cat, Jo and Jess. Bad luck Kirsten missing out by a few seconds.

Georeferencing of the map seems miles out in places - I keep thinking Hector is missing controls

Not so good for the boys though.
Only Alan Cherry looking like he'll qualify (and only just).

Very well done Cherry! And yes well done Cat, Jess and Jo. Go well tomorrow all.
Today's outcome does make the 10/10 in the long qualification seem even more remarkable.

I thought that - I just reckon it's the GPS not liking the slope, as Basset's worm did similar missing #7.

Re: European Champs
(Edited) Quite a lot of well-known names not making the A final.
But 12/12 for SWE, and 11/12 for the home team CZE.

Re: European Champs
its tough at the top...I see Daniel hubmann out also.Thought Hector might scrape in but think he lost it early on. Then started to take safe line towards the end, fatigue maybe. Basset was coming up behind v fast.

Re: European Champs
How come there are Canadians and New Zealanders competing? I would have thought they would be non-competitive!
