2km left on leg 3, and Judith has run off the front of the chasing group and is closing on Hollie, but only by a few seconds.
Cat has lost a couple of minutes, or had a longer gaffle, and is now 5.5 mins down on Hollie, in 13th place.

Re: Tiomila
Great run by Hollie, on her own out front from beginning to end. Slight mistake crossing a road at the end cost her maybe a minute.
Judith Wyder must have been flying over the last few controls. She's back only 35 secs behind Hollie, and a minute clear of the other chasers.

Re: Tiomila
Sabine Hauswirth for Halden just missed badly at 9, and will lose the lead...

Re: Tiomila
Ah, it had to be Pan didn't it! Once Sabine had missed, it seemed somewhat inevitable. Maja has an amazing engine.
The cruellest sport, isn't it, the relay - the team can be leading all the way and then end up off the podium.

Wow, sprint finish after 4 hours of racing. Pan Arhus by 5 secs from Nydalens.
Very disappointed Sabine Hauswirth comes in 8th.

Duncan and Will still in the lead pack, with Alan 1 minute back, at the 10km TV control.

Looks like TuMe still going. Must just have been a miss.

They showed quite a big miss by TuMe on the GPS tracking.
Hector was running in second, but also just had a miss, and is now 41st.

Re: Tiomila
Really good pictures and online results, pity I'm not up to understanding many words. No doubt there are discussions about whether KR +7.26, Koovee +4.14 after leg 1 matters enough.
But the end of leg interviews seem to be invariably in English so far.
Sympathy to Halden women. Well run Hollie, coped well with "terrifying" situation.
Men's relay seems to me to be spreading more - is it the climb? - and more good teams getting mistakes. Sorry for them but it is does make good viewing. I suppose hope for many teams. Perhaps not so many teams in groups on the long night.
Thanks to Spookster for occasional screen shot.

Yes, I think the tracks and the hills are both making for splits in the field. Like on this leg..

Re: Tiomila
Another miss from TuMe - looks like Doug is going to be playing catchup, which could be tricky in this terrain!

Yep. But catching up is happening - Hector just went from 4:30 back to 2:30 back, and KR are moving up well also.
