Has anybody got....
a complete set of Compass Sports, or at least any from 1998? I'm particularly interested in tracking some information that should be in one of them. Please PM me.

Andy
I have Feb, April, June and December from 1998. December has a profile of you if that is what you're looking for but I can't find the results for the SHI at Kilnsey which may be what you want!

Re: Has anybody got....
It was the latter (I'm vain enough to have a copy of the profile edition tucked away somewhere! Had forgotten that was in the same year). I'm just trying to update records, and whilst I have everything from all other events since and including JK95, that one is incomplete. I've had a few replies from those with complete runs, so hope the info will come to light. Thanks anyway.

It seems there is no record in Compass Sport. Has anybody by any chance got paper results from National Event at Kilnsey, held weekend Sep 12/13 1998?

Which equates to 102 minutes for Sunday's course, taking into account extra distance and height climb.

About what I would have expected, given Jamie was not fully into his prime at that stage. He just ran the relays in WOC the year before, and the year after finished in the thirties in both Classic and Short in Inverness.
Thank you Simon!

awk > You got the distance dead right and full respect for putting on a proper classic race in Britain. The course looked good. Jamie in his prime in ok weather would have run your course in 95-97minutes. Hopefully the race on Sunday has inspired the next generation of British elite to focus on becoming top class orienteers in the middle and classic.
